Blogging

It certainly couldn't be any easier to create a basic blog using Blogger. I think what took me the longest was deciding which template to use! I already contribute to the LIS Collection blog, and was involved in setting up the Reports to the Oregon State Legislature blog in WordPress. I think the key to any successful blog is making sure you keep the content fresh. That means a serious commitment to keeping it up to date. I'm not sure I would want to create a blog for the library services I support until I was sure I could make the commitment to keeping it up to date. The concept of curation, or developing a thoughtful approach to  building content, is something I think should be essential for any OSL blog.
